WHO WE ARE
Betting Control and Licensing Board domiciled at the Executive office of the President following the Executive Order No. 1 of 2023 – Organization of the Government of the Republic of Kenya. The Board is established by an Act of parliament known as the Betting Lotteries and Gaming Act Cap 131 Laws of Kenya

Mandate
The Act provides for the control and licensing of Betting and Gaming premises and the activities carried therein; for the imposition and recovery of taxes, for the authorization of lotteries and prize competition as well as eradication of illegal gambling.

- Supervising and Inspecting Betting and Gaming Activities
- Presiding over Public Lottery and Prize Competition draws
