WHO WE ARE
Betting Control and Licensing Board currently domiciled in the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government under State Department for Interior and Citizen Services is a Board established by an Act of parliament known as the Betting Lotteries and Gaming Act Cap 131 Laws of Kenya
MANDATE
- Control and Licensing of Betting and Gaming premises and activities carried therein
- Authorization of lotteries and Prize Competition
- Imposition and recovery of taxes
- Eradication of illegal gambling

- Supervision and Inspecting Betting, Lotteries and Gaming Activities
- Presiding over Public Lottery and Prize Competition draws
- Conducting spot checks on betting, Lotteries and Gaming Operations Country wide
- Conduct crackdown on illegal gambling activities
- Sensitize gaming stakeholders on the dangers of excessive gambling
- Advising the Minister on matters of Betting and Gaming in general
